In Saint-Ouen, at the heart of one of the most famous flea markets in Europe, discover a whole new vintage space and its new occupants.
In the 1964 Habitat showroom, find unique articles, furniture and home accessories, from past brand collections. All the articles on offer are certified period pieces. They are presented in an original staging within a former warehouse of almost 400m2, purposely left in the rough.
Organized around a courtyard this new little vintage village is also the most recent conception and creation of the teams of L’éclaireur. Dusted off from top to bottom, this former chandelier repair workshop is now home to the modern archives of L’éclaireur: a selection of clothes and accessories, as well as design objects steeped in history, available as limited editions or as one-off items.
Mademoiselle Steinitz has taken up quarters on the ground floor of the famous Steinitz workshops, antique dealers with an international reputation, and offers a rare selection of furniture and antiques as well as high fashion vintage outfits.
The Gam Gallery, hosted by Ayann Goses, has opened its new space in Habitat 1964. Specializing in furniture and decorative objects of the twentieth century, it includes the biggest names in design from the 1950s to the 1970s: Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Serge Mouille, among others.
Finally, the refreshment area brought to you Tartes Kluger with its "garden view" terrace will delight you for lunch breaks or tasty snacks.
Get away from it all in this place full of history and creation.
